Interestingly, it seems that women have more mirror neurons than men. This might explain why we women put so much emphasis on relationships in our lives. And why men often have more capacity to deal with the task at hand and not get distracted by the needs of others. I think enviously about my male friend who has written 7 books with apparent ease, when I am struggling with the first chapter of mine!
I would also speculate that those extra mirror neurons might be the reason why women sometimes fail to comprehend why a man doesn’t instantly understand our feelings. Thinking that they are perfectly obvious. Whereas another woman ‘gets it‘ straight away.
